Devils recall Steven Santini from Albany (AHL)

The New Jersey Devils recalled defenseman Steven Santini from the Albany Devils (AHL) on Sunday.

In 15 games played with Albany this season, Santina has recorded no goals, assists, or points, but has a +4 +/- rating and 25 PIM.

The New Jersey Devils on Saturday morning recalled goaltender Yann Danis from the Albany Devils of the American Hockey League.

The reason for the call up was the injury to Devils starting goaltender Cory Schneider. In the Devils' game on Friday night against the Stars, Schneider recieved a possible leg injury after jamming his let into a net post.

AHL Announces Suspension Of Dan Kelly

SPRINGFIELD, MASS- The American Hockey League announced on Friday the suspension of Albany Flames' defenseman Dan Kelly for one game.

Kelly was suspended for an illegal check to the head on an opponent during a Dec. 2nd game against St. John's.

Kelly will miss Albany's game on Saturday (Dec. 5) vs. Rochester.
