Hellebuyck re-assigned to Moose

Statement from the Manitoba Moose website.
"The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club, in conjunction with its AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, announced today that they have re-assigned goaltender Connor Hellebuyck to the Moose.

Hellebuyck, 22, played 26 games with the Jets this season, going 13-11-1 with a 2.34 goals against average and a .918 save percentage.

The native of Commerce, MI played 10 games for the Moose earlier this season registering a 2.41 goals against average and a .927 save percentage.

The Moose will play their next game when they host the Chicago Wolves Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the MTS Centre.

The team will be wearing throwback jersey’s from the 1996 season and the game will feature some other surprises during the retro game."

Coyotes Recall Gaudet from AHL

Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled forward Tyler Gaudet from the Springfield Falcons, the club’s American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 22-year-old Gaudet has averaged 12:37 of ice time and registered an assist in five games with the Coyotes this season. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound native of Hamilton, ON has totalled 1-6-7 with 19 penalty minutes (PIM) in 26 games with Springfield.

Gaudet signed with the Coyotes as a free agent on Nov. 4, 2013.

ROSTER MOVE: Smith moved to Providence (AHL)

The Boston Bruins recalled Jeremy Smith from the Iowa Wild (AHL) on Monday and moved him to the Providence Bruins (AHL).

Smith has a record this season in the AHL of 5-14-3 in 23 games played with a .911 save percentage.

UPDATE: (Tuesday Morning): Also, the Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled forwards Mark Arcobello, Rich Clune and Josh Leivo from the Toronto Marlies (AHL) on Monday.
