Blues place Pietrangelo on injured reserve

St. Louis Blues defenseman Alex Pietrangelo was placed on injured reserve Monday and is expected to miss three weeks because of a right knee injury, Blues general manager Doug Armstrong said.

Pietrangelo was hurt during the third period of the Blues' 4-1 win against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday because of a collision with Wild forward Charlie Coyle.

Pietrangelo has three goals and 23 points in 55 games this season with the Blues.
