NEW YORK -- Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Brandon Manning has been suspended for two games, without pay, for interference against Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jake Guentzel during NHL Game No. 908 in Pittsburgh on Saturday, Feb. 25, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 3:26 of the second period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Manning will forfeit $10,833.34. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.

Brandon Manning to have hearing with Player Safety
Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Brandon Manning will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday for interference against Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jake Guentzel.
The incident occurred at 3:26 of the second period of the 2017 Coors Light Stadium Series game at Heinz Field. Manning was not penalized on the play.
The Penguins defeated the Flyers 4-2.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: interference. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
