The Stanley Cup Final is over, and teams are most likely focused on the Expansion and Entry Draft now.
TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun tweeted some thoughts on James Neal and Calle Jarnkrok on the Nashville Predators, and a possible protection/espose route the Preds can go down.
Should Nashville go the 8-skater (four defensemen) protection route, which LeBrun says is likely, then he feels that it is possible that winger James Neal gets exposed in the expansion draft. LeBrun said that is not for sure, but that it is possible.
LeBrun also said that "Of course", another option in order to try and keep both James Neal and Calle Jarnkrok is to work out a side deal with Vegas which many teams are as well.
