Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang won't be in the lineup Friday against the Los Angeles Kings because of an upper-body injurY.
Letang played 22:51 in a 4-2 win Wednesday against the Colorado Avalanche after missing two games because of an undisclosed injury.
Letang has one goal and 14 points in 25 games this season.
"He sustained another injury in the last game. It is different than the injury before," coach Mike Johnston said in comments tweeted by the Penguins.
Coach Johnston on Letang: "He sustained another injury in the last game. It is different than the injury before. He won't play tonight."
