Maple Leafs recall goaltender Jhonas Enroth

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has recalled goaltender Jhonas Enroth from the Toronto Marlies (AHL) while forwards Byron Froese and Frederik Gauthier, as well as goaltender Antoine Bibeau, have been loaned to the Marlies.

Enroth, 28, owns a 0-3-1 record with a 3.94 goals against average and a .872 save percentage in six appearances with the Maple Leafs in 2016-17. Enroth registered 24 saves in one previous appearance with the Marlies, a 5-3 win over Hartford on December 10.

Froese, 25, played two games with the Maple Leafs after being recalled from the Marlies on December 21. He has registered 17 points (12 goals, five assists) in 26 games with the Marlies this season.

Gauthier, 21, recorded two points, including his first NHL goal, in three games with the Maple Leafs after being recalled from the Marlies on December 19. He has collected four points (one goal, three assists) in 16 games with the Marlies this season.

Bibeau, 22, has posted a 7-6-2 record, a 2.48 goals against average, a .910 save percentage and three shutouts in 15 games with the Marlies this season. He made 26 saves in his NHL debut against Colorado on December 11.

Leafs send Bibeau and Arcobello back to the Marlies

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs loaned goaltender Antoine Bibeau and forward Mark Arcobello to their American Hockey League affiliate on Sunday.

Bibeau has a 10-4-0 record with the Toronto Marlies this season

along with a 3.20 goals-against average and .889 save percentage. The 21-year-old netminder has yet to make his NHL debut.


Arcobello, who has played in nine games with the Maple Leafs, has 27 points (12 goals, 15 assists) with the Marlies this season.

Clune will miss Sunday's game against the Crunch at Ricoh Coliseum.

Bibeau, Clune reassigned to Marlies (AHL) by Maple Leafs

Goaltender Antoine Bibeau and forward Rich Clune were reassigned to the American Hockey League by the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday.

Bibeau hasn't appeared in any games for the Maple Leafs so far this season. In 13 appearances for the AHL's Toronto Marlies, the 21-year-old is 9-3-0 with a .883 save percentage and 3.38 goals-against average.

Clune is pointless in two games with the Maple Leafs this year. The Toronto native has 12 points in 22 games with the Marlies.
