The Chicago Blackhawks announced today they have loaned defenseman David Rundblad to the ZSC Lions of Switzerland’s National League A.

Rundblad, 25, tallied two assists in nine games with the Blackhawks this season. The Lycksele, Sweden, native registered 16 points (3G, 13A) in 63 regular-season games across three seasons with Chicago (2013-15).

Rundblad, a member of the 2015 Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks, also appeared in five 2015 postseason games.
