Flyers forward Brayden Schenn suspended for first three games of 2016-17

The NHL on Tuesday suspended Philadelphia Flyers forward Brayden Schenn for the first three games of the 2016-17 season.

Schenn was suspended for charging Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie in Game 6 of the teams' first round series on Sunday.

The incident occurred at 14:24 of the second period.

Schenn scored 26 goals and had 59 points this season.
