Kane, McElhinney, Strome named our 'Three Stars of the Night'

NEW YORK -- UNB! Network NHL/hockey blog 'The Neutral Zone' has named Patrick Kane, Curtis McElhinney, and Ryan Strome as their 'Theee Stars of the Night' for the National Hockey League games taking place on February 19, 2017.

FIRST STAR - PATRICK KANE, F, CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS

Kane has reached the 20-goal mark in each of his first 10 seasons in the NHL. Per the Elias Sports Bureau Kane is the only American-born player in NHL history to score 20+ goals in each of his first 10 seasons.

SECOND STAR - CURTIS McELHINNEY, G, TORONTO MAPE LEAFS

McElhinney turned aside all 37 shots he faced to register his first shutout in a Maple Leafs uniform.

THIRD STAR - RYAN STROME, F, NEW YORK ISLANDERS

Strome had a goal and two assists to help the Islanders win their sixth consecutive home games vs. the Devils dating to March 29, 2014 (NJD: 0-4-2).
