Toews, Laine, Tampa's "Triplets Line" named our 'Thres Stars of the Night'

NEW YORK -- UNB! Network NHL/hockey blog 'The Neutral Zone' has named Jonathan Toews, Patrik Laine, and Tampa Bay's "Triplets Line" as their 'Theee Stars of the Night' for the National Hockey League games taking place on February 21, 2017.

FIRST STAR - JONATHAN TOEWS, F, CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS

Toews (3-2—5) scored his 4th regular season hat trick and became first Blackhawks player with 5 points since Nov. 25, 2011 when he had 2-3—5 at the Anaheim Ducks.

SECOND STAR - PATRIK LAINE, F, WINNIPEG JETS

Laine (30-24—54), who paces rookie scoring, became the first rookie in Jets / Thrashers history to tally 30 goals in a single season. Per the Elias Sports Bureau, Laine became the fifth rookie in the past 25 seasons to score 30 goals in 55 ganes played or fewer.

THIRD STAR(S) - TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING'S "TRIPLETS LINE" (ONDREJ PALAT, NIKITA KUCHEROV, TYLER JOHNSON)

This line has helpers in all four of Tampa Bay's goals and had a total of eight points in the win over the Oilers as the Lightning earned their third straight home win en route to extending their overall point streak to seven games (5-0-2).
