NEW YORK -- UNB! Network NHL/hockey blog 'The Neutral Zone' has named Henrik Lundqvist, Patrick Kane, and Filip Forsberg as their 'Theee Stars of the Night' for the National Hockey League games taking place on February 23, 2017.
FIRST STAR - HENRIK LUNDQVIST, G, NEW YORK RANGERS
Lundqvist earned his 402nd career win to surpass Chris Osgood (401) for sole possession of 11th on the NHL’s all-time wins list.
SECOND STAR - PATRICK KANE, F, CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS
Kane recorded his third career hat trick to help the Blackhawks improve to 8-1-0 in their last nine games.
THIRD STAR - FILIP FORSBERG, D, NASHVILLE PREDATORS
Forsberg earned his 2nd consecutive hat trick, becoming the first player to accomplish the feat since Alex Burrows (Jan. 5 and 7, 2010).
