CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday agreed to a one-year contract with forward Richard Panik.
Details of the contract were not released.
Panic would have become a restricted free agent July 1.
Panik, 25, had six goals and eight points in 30 regular-season games after he was acquired from the Toronto Maple Leafs for forward Jeremy Morin on Jan. 3.
