Hockey legend Gordie Howe dead at 88

"The Neutral Zone" Staff Report

It is very unfortunate to announce this.

Hockey legend Gordie Howe, the man who spend practically his whole life in the hockey world, mainly with the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and even some time in the WHA in the 1970s, died on Friday at the age of 89 due to health issues.

Us here at "The Neutral Zone" and the "UNB! Network" can not be more saddened by this news. Gordie revolutionized the game of Hockey and showed us what toughness really was. He was a pioneer in this game and we thank him tremendously for that.

Thank you, Mr. Hockey.
