Analysis: Capitals have the best special teams so far in 2015-16

"The Neutral Zone" Analysis Report
When it comes to consistency in only PP% and PK%, the
Washington Capitals have the best special teams in the league
so far in the 2015-16 NHL season.

When it comes to the National Hockey League, special teams is a very important part of winning a game. One power play, or even one penalty kill, can make a huge difference in winning or losing a game.

But which team seems to be doing the best at it so far in 2015-16?

Well, the team that has been the most consistent in both PP% and PK% in 2015-16 are the Washington Capitals.

The Boston Bruins lead the league in PP% (Power Play Percentage) with 29.2, but are very un-consistent when it comes to PK% (Penalty Kill Percentage), where they are currently 17th in the league with 80.9.

The Anaheim Ducks lead the league in penalty kill with 87.5, but are in a surprising 23rd in the league in PP% at 16.7 to go along with that.

The Capitals are the team that is the most consistent in both categories, being second in the league in PP% with 25.0, and 6th in the league in PK% with 84.1.

The second-most consistent team in both categories is the St. Louis Blues, who are 8th in the league in PP% with 20.8, and are second in the league in PK% with 87.4
