Coyotes sign leading QMJHL scorer Garland

GLENDALE, AZ Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed right wing Conor Garland to a three-year entry-level contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 19-year-old Garland currently leads the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) in scoring with 21-59-80 in 33 games. Garland's 80 points are 22 points more than the next ranked player in the QMJHL. He has earned at least one point in 32 of his 33 games this season and has collected multiple points in 25 games.

Garland has earned two CHL Player of the Week honors this season and has been named one of QMJHL's Three Stars of the Week six different times.
