Flyers GM Ron Hextall said on Saturday that forward Matt Read will not play in the Flyers' game at Boston on Saturday.
Read has a lower-body injury & is considered day-to-day.
In 33 games played in 2016-17, Read has posted six goals and five assists for 11 points, along with a -1 plus-minus rating.
