Penguins score empty netter, beat Rangers 5-3

The New York Rangers just could not pull off the victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday afternoon.

Sidney Crosby scored an empty-net goal for the Penguins with 39 seconds left in the 3rd period to put the Penguins up 5-3, and to put the game away.

Chris Kreider, Derick Brassard and Ryan McDonagh scored for the Rangers, while Partic Hornqvist, Conor Sheary, and Matt Cullen also scored for the Penguins along with Crosby.

The Penguins outshot the Rangers 33-27.

Marc Andre Fleury made 27 saves for the Penguins, while Henrik Lundqvist made 28 saves for the Rangers.
