Flames sign Linden Vey to one-year, two-way deal

CALGARY, AB – The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed forward Linden Vey to a one-year, two-way contract.

In 2015-16, Vey recorded 15 points (4G, 11A) in 41 regular season games for the Vancouver Canucks and also skated in 26 games for the Utica Comets of the AHL, recording 15 points (3G, 12A). The 24-year-old has played 134 career NHL games and has 44 points (14G, 30A).

The Wakaw, Saskatchewan native, was originally drafted in the fourth round (96th overall) in the 2009 NHL Draft by the Los Angeles Kings.
