Bruins' Rinaldo to have Player Safety Hearing

Boston Bruins forward Zac Rinaldo will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Tuesday for an incident with Tampa Bay Lightning forward Cedric Paquette during a game Sunday at TD Garden.

The incident occurred at 10:49 of the first period. Rinaldo was assessed a two-minute minor for an illegal check to the head. Paquette remained in the game.

Tampa Bay won the game 4-1.


The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: illegal check to the head. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
