Rangers defenseman Klein injures right thumb

In Tuesday night's game against the New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers defenseman Kevin Klein suffered a broken thumb in the third period.

Klein as of now is out indefinitely.

Klein, the 37th pick overall in the second round of the 2003 NHL Draft, has three goals and 7 assists so far in 38 games played with the Rangers this season.
